Sophie Jonas-Hill never intended to have a double barreled name, but a combination of optimism and feminism has brought her to this state.
She’s like so many people, especially woman, a jack of al trades but as yet, master of none; and this blog charts her musings and jottings about her attempts to be paid for the writing she has been working on for the last forty years.
She lives in Hertfordshire in the squeezed middle, with her long-suffering husband and daughter. Occasionally she goes dancing in a way that proves life begins at forty, and your never too old not to know better. She bakes a mean cup-cake, by which she means it’s likely to give you a hangover.
